Jeffrey Attakorah’s guitar playing mirrors the busy and colorful vibrations of his hometown, Kumasi, Ghana. He started his musical journey a year after immigrating to America to join his parents. He spent many evenings fascinated in front of the television screen watching the Jonas Brothers. However, once he tried his hand at playing guitar, his musical stylings would reach far beyond their bubble gum pop approach.

In his early years, Jeffrey fed his hunger for music by participating in his high school jazz band, chorus, and church. After being gifted an Epiphone Les Paul by a close friend, Tony Santi, Jeffrey’s curiosity for the guitar exploded into a journey of exploration and domination. He began to study and acquire a musical understanding from punk to classical, extending to Blues and beyond.  On the path of discovering more influences, Jeffrey started reaching back into learning more about African genres and music, specifically those in Ghana and other West African countries. This led to solidifying the tag, Ghanaian Bluesman, as a fusion of the local sounds and love of Blues music. His interest in blues music inspired him to form “The Blues Reincarnation Project” in 2016 with former schoolmates. With Jeffrey’s “in the crowd” approach to performances and soul-gripping guitar solos peppered over each song, the band has been electrifying audiences and growing their fan base ever since.

He has shared the stage with well-known artists, including American Blues protégé Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Ghananian superstar StoneBwoy, and has even jammed with The Victor Wainwright band at the 2020 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. He has wowed audiences from the 2018 Arden Fair performance at The Shady Grove, the 2018 Pre-Turkey Day Show with Steal Your Peach's The Queen, and has made hundreds of new fans from various Riverfront Blues Festival performances. Jeffrey won Best Guitarist and Best New Artist for the 2018 WSTW Homey Awards. He was also the winner of the WVUD Battle of the Bands in 2019 and 2017. He’s featured on countless records outside of his own project, which showcases his diversity in playing and his intense ability to learn, adapt, and execute perfectly.

After over a decade of playing and learning guitar, Jeffrey has been venturing into different aspects of music, including learning other instruments, producing, small venue engineering, and growing an online presence with the popular cover videos he creates for his YouTube channel. Jeffrey plans on reaching more people and other musicians through music by touring and performing alongside bigger, better artists on growing stages while confidently mastering his skills and developing into a better musician and artist. 

Since 2019, Jeffrey has also been striving to establish himself as a local and regional drummer in the Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania area. While still working more prominently on AV, Sound & Audio, as well as the streaming needs of the areas. Debuting in 2024 as a blues drummer, Attakorah has been going strong since he became a pillar member of the Billy 'the Kid' and the Regulators in 2025, while also a drummer for hire for small Ghanaian Churches and local Blues bands in the area! Jeffrey has now curated the #GBontheKit and #GBonTheMix tags to share his journey as a Drummer and Audio Tech, respectively!
